  2.                        UPDATE STOCK HELP SCREEN (2)

  4.    The program will truncated any three digit decimal entry to two digits      
  5.    for proper printing.  If you choose you can enter 14.875 as 14.88 since     
  6.    it will store that way anyway.                                              
  7.                                                                                
  8.    The volume figures can be entered as 100's or 1000's, it makes no dif-      
  9.    ference to the program.                                                     
  10.                                                                                
  11.    Each day the program will decide if a buy, sell, or hold signal should      
  12.    be generated.  For this it looks at the long term and short term average.   
  13.    If the short term average is becoming more positive in relation to the      
  14.    long term average and previous buy/sell signal was sell then a pilimin-     
  15.    ary buy signal is generated.  The program will then look at the chord       
  16.    length that has been established for that stock.

  18.    The close price of the stock is compared with the close price at the        
  19.    current day minus the chord length.  If the current days close is higher    
  20.    a buy signal will be passed and posted in the history record.
